Jennifer’s Story
I am living proof that miracles happen, and I am full of gratitude for the opportunity to share my story and inspire others.
In 2010, I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that I was told would kill me. I spent five years in a wheelchair, lost the use of my hands, the ability to talk and walk, and lost my hair.
Even though I pragmatically prepared for what seemed to be the end of my life, I never believed this was how my story was going to end, and it didn’t.
Locating a clinical trial
Locating a clinical trial in Chicago, I found the doctor who would cure me. In a process that has taken 10 years of recovery, I have learned the lessons of being awakened and have become changed in a truly authentic way.
Now, with a new lease on life and a practice of living fully in the moment, I share my story with deep gratitude, profound joy, and radiant love.
It’s a story of struggle and loss but also of devotion and a husband’s love. The power of not taking no for an answer and finding a way to live, while I prepared to die.
I live in Chicago with my husband, Michael, and our dog, Max. I am thrilled to be here and look forward to connecting with you.
I welcome the opportunity to speak to others and share the message that, this moment is all we have, we need to live in it and be present.
