In the details

We had our offer accepted for the house we wanted in Charleston 
It’s very exciting to have the next adventure ahead
Probably an hour after we got the call
I said to Michael “now we have to worry about getting good renters in.”
He looked up and immediately said, ”take worry off the table”
Seriously, I worry about everything 
Take it off the table?
This is going to take some work and some praying 
A belief is a thought you think over and over
And worry is the same thing
Worst case scenarios 
Played out over and over 
It’s not healthy or helpful, I know 
There a story in the Bible about a man named Gideon 
He is approached by an angel who says “ God is with you, oh mighty warrior.”
His response is, “Who me? And if that’s true, why has all this bad stuff happened?”
He is told to go in the strength that is his
It’s a fascinating story of how God is in the details of our lives
I’m guessing we can all relate 
We’ve all had bad seasons and a time when it all went wrong
You feel despondent 
But, it’s imperative not to get stuck in the worry and doubt
Our new home will be a place of love 
We will walk through the rooms, grateful because God has been there, in the details all along 
With no worries at all
