Love

There is a lesson in A Course in Miracles that says
God is love, and therefore so am I 
What an incredible concept 
What a life changing way to go about your life
If you believe that you are made of love 
Wouldn’t it soften the way you look at everything?
Wouldn’t it make someone you disagree with less like an other
And more like a brother 
If you believe in the Bible than you have heard, that we are told to love God and love our neighbors 
That’s it
It seems clear to me that if we see ourselves each morning as beings of love then each encounter that day, would be gentle
At night we could sleep knowing that we made the world a kinder place 
Each time we refrain from judging or accusing 
We add a little more love in the air 
Each day we get a choice 
God is love, and therefore so am I 
Seems like an easy one to me 
Lucille Clifton says,”In the bigger scheme of things the universe is not asking us to do something, the universe is asking us to be something. And that’s a whole different thing.”
I choose to be who I was created to be, love.
