To be ok

Most of my friends know that this move has been anything but easy
It seems like every day we’ve had some sort of challenge or problem to deal with, in a relentless wave
Trying to stay positive has been harder in this chapter than anything I’ve had to face in awhile
Losing my father in the midst of this adds another layer on top
Life is so messy
Life is full of bad news and disappointments and disasters
But, it’s also breathtakingly beautiful
Full of miracles and true holy moments
We will all face change and challenges
Both are hard but apparently necessary for our lives here
We are souls enrolled in this human school and it is sometimes so difficult to understand why the things happen when they do
I believe that everything is spiritual
I believe that everything has a lesson
I believe that we are here to learn how to be ok when things aren’t ok
To find peace that goes way beyond our understanding
To trust that it will all make sense
Someday
Craig Hamilton said, “Stay true to your deepest intuition that an extraordinary and miraculous life is possible.”
So, today if you are going through a tough time  aggravations are piling up on you and things seem harder than usual
Know that holding onto things doesn’t heal us
Letting go does
Close your eyes
Open your hands
And your heart
Relax and take some really deep breaths
Sometimes it’s not one foot in front of the other
It’s literally just one breath after the other
Until you find that little quiet space
That little voice inside you that whispers
It’s going to be alright
You will get through this
This will pass
An extraordinary and miraculous life is still possible
And know that you are never alone
